ITANAGAR, Oct 26:Directorate of Science & technology, Government of India, New Delhi Er Ravinder Gaur on Thursday held a meeting with officials of the State Council for Science & technology (APSCS&T)   and reviewed the schemes and projects undertaken by the Directorate of Science & Technology and Directorate of Remote sensing at conference hall of Science Centre here at IG Park today.

Addressing the meeting, Gaur said that the there is no shortage  of fund and the Centre is ready to  provide the required funds for development works to states, but the implementing department should also ensure its timely implementation as per DPR, maintaining complete transparency.

“The Centre is committed towards equitable development of all states and ready to give all financial support and assistance it needed. But all the development works must be completed in timely manner and executed with complete transparency,’ he asserted.

Gaur who recently inspected 6 Micro hydel projects being executed by the department has appreciated the department for completing few of them in timely manner and found the works executed as satisfactory.

He further directed the officers and officials to submit the utilization certificate (UC) with all relevant documents in proper manner with financial certificate etc for release of balance fund for completion of the ongoing projects in state.

Chairman Bamang Mangha urged the visiting officer to sanction remaining pending funds for early completion of ongoing projects, while disclosing that out of seven projects of Micro Hydel Projects in the state, few of them have been completed and commissioned for which DPR have been submitted for consideration of GoI.
