PASIGHAT, Nov 17: In a joint memorandum to Chief Minister, Pema Khandu here today, the Bogong Banggo Kebang, Bogong Banggo Yameng Kebang, Bogong Banggo Kebang Women Wing and All Bogong Students’ Union has appealed for early functionalization of Arunachal University.

After submitting the memo to Chief Minister, Pema Khandu at Siang Guest House here today, BBK General Secretary, Mongol Gao said that Khandu has assured to look into the matter urgently. “He has marked the letter to DyCM, Chowna Mein who is the concern Minister of Finance for financial approval/earmarking for infrastructural development,” added Gao.

It is worth mentioning here that, the foundation stone of Arunachal University was laid by then Chief Minister, Nabam Tuki during January 2013 with much fanfare, but it is yet to see the light of the day.
