DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
NIRJULI, Dec 9:
UD, Housing, Town Planning, Municipal & PWD Parliamentary Secretary Techi Kaso after distributing dustbins in ward No 29 here today, on behalf of Itanagar Municipal Council, lauded the team efforts in intensifying Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
The councillors led by deputy chief councillor Tarh Nachung and IMC EE Tadar Tarang joined the local legislator in appealing to the capital complex residents to pay service charges with sincerity for the success of SBA.
However, Tarang said that the charges (Traders- Rs 200, residents- Rs 100 and vendors- Rs 50) per head was low which should be voluntarily paid as IMC has engaged 22 labourers for the cleaning operation. He also requested Naharlagun Bazar Welfare Committee to allow IMC to do the cleaning work in their place.
The dustbins were also installed in identified locations for proper use.
