DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
PASIGHAT, Dec 8: 13 units of blood was donated today during a blood donation camp held in the Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat, organized by the hospital administration in collaboration with HDFC Bank, Pasighat.
The camp was formally inaugurated by the Medical Superintendent Dr. YR Darang in presence of the Blood Bank Officer Dr. G Jonkey, HDFC Branch Manager, Priya Madhab Baruah, senior doctors and staffers of the hospital and bank.
Stating that blood cannot be manufactured and comes only from generous donors, both doctors highlighted the importance of blood donation in a bid to sensitize the common people to get rid of their hesitation and fear for blood donation.
After going through various tests on the spot, thirteen volunteers out of fifteen were permitted to donate blood.
