ITANAGAR, Jan 11: As a part of the National Youth Day celebration, the state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) is organizing a blood donation drive at RK Mission Hospital here from January 12 to 23 next.  

The 12-day event will also feature other activities, such as cleanliness drives and sports competitions across the state, said BJYM president Taring Tari here today at the Press Club.

NYD is celebrated every year in commemoration of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and this year BJYM and its district unit is organizing events to attract and create awareness amongst the youth on various positive subjects, he added.

Tari further requested the people especially the youths to come and donate blood during the drive.
