ITANAGAR, Sep 24:The BJP Itanagar capital district unit today in an emergency meeting held here at its office near AP Civil Secretariat has opposed the 12 hours capital bandh called by the Mere Vichar Andolan Committee on September 25.

President Tarh Soping after the meeting informed that the house has unanimously decided to oppose the bandh call and has directed its workers and supporters to defy the bandh in every way possible.

Soping further appealed citizens to go about their normal work and said that if anything happens the organisation shall take responsibility. Moreover, the administration has already arranged sufficient security forces and there is nothing to worry, he added.
