ITANAGAR, Oct 7:
Taking note of the unfortunate Indian Air Force helicopter crash at Yangtse, in Tawang District on Friday, wherein 7 personnel died,the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) while extending deep condolence to the aggrieved family members cancelled its evening cultural programme of the State Executive Meeting as a mark of respect to the armed personnel who died in service of the nation.
Earlier in the day, State Executive Meeting delegates also observed a one minute silence and deeply mourned the loss of lives.
Moreover, the BJP in its executive meeting held on October 6 last has resolved to support the nation-wide ‘Jan Rakshak Pathyatra’ protest announced by BJP against the killing of more than 100 BJP karyakartas in Kerela over the past few months.
While condemning the barbaric act of the communist party cadre, the BJP termed the massacre as a crime against humanity and stated that in a democratic country like India such autocratic and criminal act has no place.
