BASAR, Oct 30:Basar is all ready to conduct the second edition of Basar Confluence (BasCon) in a grand and befitting manner.

Organised by Gumin Rego Kilaju on November 4-5 next, the organizers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure full preparations before the opening.

In the segment of Artist Residency, 10 artistes from different fields including NSD Alumni Rikken Ngomle and Goge Bam, Sajin Babu, a renowned filmmaker from Kerala, Gautam from Guwahati and many more have arrived at Basar and are staying at villages to have a better experience of tribal life since last 15 days.

BasCon will mainly focus on rich culture and tradition of Galo society, its cuisine, display of traditional methods of fishing, hunting, showcasing of arts and artifacts.16 cultural troupes from various tribes of Arunachal Pradesh and from other states have confirmed their participation in the event.

Another attraction of the event is participation by Arunachal Pradesh Aero Sports Association (APASA) led by Pige Ligu and his team. Joyride will also attract enthusiasts to experience 15 minutes of flying in the air.

Many high level dignitaries from Delhi and Itanagar including MoS Home Kiren Rijiju and Chief Minister Pema Khandu have consented to pay a visit.
