ITANAGAR, Aug 7:The Mere Vichar Andolan Committee is set to observe August 9 next as “Balidaan Diwas” to mark the 1st death anniversary of late Chief Minister Kalikho Pul, who committed suicide on the same day last year at the CM’s Bungalow.

Interacting with press reporters at Press Club, Spokesperson MVAC, Tarh Atung disclosed that the committee is planning a series of events to engage with the masses and talk about late Pul’s achievements and highlight how he had made a difference to people’s lives.

“We will distribute fruits to patients at Tomo Riba Institute of Medical Science and Rama Krishna Hospital and few orphanages at Itanagar in the morning hours.  And then we will organize a candle light programme in the evening,” he added.

Few close relatives along with the wives and son of Pul are also expected to participate in the day,” disclosed Atung.
