ITANAGAR, Nov 29: The All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) has urged the Parliamentary Secretary for Health & Family Welfare  Phurpa Tsering to immediately clear and release the file related to procurement of life saving medicines for government hospitals for the financial year 2016-17, which is on hold since last one month. Due to delay, the department is unable to award supply order to the genuine contractors who won the tender. It is also directly leading to non supply of medicines in interiors government hospitals as well as affecting  the  contractors as they keep huge amounts under Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) for said tender,’ stated AACWA in its press statement.
