ITANAGAR, Oct 27: Responding to the complaint lodged by Taraso Circle Youth Association (TCYA), the Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Tai Kaye has directed the Additional Deputy Commissioner Balijan for immediate investigation on the misuse of fund meant for the construction of forest patrolling road from Balaja to Deldal Milde and from Ramghat to Disha Nzalla (28.4 KM) under Taraso Circle.

Taraso Circle Youth Association (TCYA) alleged that the DFO concerned didn’t publish the NIT for the said work and the work was allotted to a firm against the guidelines. It further claims that without carrying out the actual work, the firm has already withdrawn a sum of Rupees 1 Crore.

In another complaint letter, the organization claimed  that fund for the construction of individual household latrine under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin) 2015-17 under Taraso Circle has been also mismanaged .

As per documents obtained through RTI, many beneficiaries were not allotted the work but department has already withdrawn the amount, stated TCYA while demanding constitution of an investigation committee to unearth the truth.
