ITANAGAR, Dec 20:

The Assam Rifles Khonsa Battalion during an operation on Wednesday nabbed an NSCN (K) cadre from Kheti Village, who was reportedly carrying out extortion activities in the region.

The self styled Sergeant, Kammo Kanglom was apprehended based on specific intelligence about the presence of suspected cadre in the village.

A 7.65 mm pistol along with magazine and 2 live rounds ammunition and some contraband items were recovered from his possession.
