DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
NAHARLAGUN, Dec 27: Taro Sindik has been conferred with the Sahitya academy Yuva Puruskaar 2017 award for his book “Aksharo Ki Vinti” (a collection of Hindi poem), which was handed over to him by Akademy president, Vishwanath Prasad Tiwari at a function held at Randawa Auditorium, at Chandigadh, Punjab from December 22-23 last.
Sindik is the second recipient of this prestigious literary award after YD Thongchi and first in North East India to get the award in Hindi language.
Taro Sindik,30, son of Late Tai Sindik and Late Yalung Sindik, belongs to the Tagin community.
He graduated in Hindi from DNGC and later completed his Masters and M. Phil from RGU.
At present Sindik is serving as Assistant Professor in Hindi at Donyi Polo Government College Kamki in West Siang since 2010.
On his arrival at Naharlagun Railway Station today, Sindik was given a warm welcome by the team members and Executive Members of Arunachal Artist Forum led by Chief Advisor Bamang Loram, Vice Chairman (Admn) Taai Chali, Hindi Sansthan committee member Tai Tugung and others.
