PASIGHAT, Dec 29: An educational exposure tour for school children to Kolkata and Gaya from December 29 – January 11 next was flagged off today from Sigar Military Station by its Commander.

The educational tour for 25 children is being organized under Spear Head Division of Indian Army for the children of Tuting, Upper Siang District with an aim to acquaint and expose the children to the vast and rich cultural heritage of the country.

The visit to tourist places of historical importance, witnessing the numerous development projects being undertaken in the country would imbibe in the children the greatness of our country, said an Army officer from the Military Station, Sigar under Mebo Sub-Division here today.
