ITANAGAR, Aug 25:Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) has demanded the resignation of top BJP leaders for what it terms insulting the National Flag and Indian Map.

Union Minister of State for Home, Kiren Rijiju, Deputy CM Chowna Mein, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister Dr. Mohesh Chai along with BJP senior leaders had cut a cake bearing the tricolour and Indian Map with a ‘Dao’ (sword) in a flag-off function of ‘Tiranga Yatra’ organised by the BJYM.

 Cutting across the cake coloured with Indian Map by a top leader of BJP has exposed their hidden agenda to divide India on the basis Caste, Race, Creed, Region and Religion which is very much prevalent since the inception of ‘Modi Sarkar’.  
APYC further demanded immediate dropping of the trio from their respective posts and to be booked under the Prevention of Insult to National Honour Act 1971 and provisions of anti-national act.
