ITANAGAR, Jul 17: A team of Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress state office bearers led by its president Geli Ete met with its national president Keshav Chand Yadav along with Monalisha Banerjee, Secretary IYC, and in-charge of Arunachal Pradesh at Guwahati on July 15, stated an APYC press release issued here today.
Jose Nabam Tana, General Secy, APYC submitted the activity report of APYC to the national president in the meeting.
Geli Ete requested the national president to approve expansion of state office bearers to further strengthen the party organization and Yadav has reportedly accepted his appeal.
Tanu Dulom (Nima), General Secretary APYC appealed to the national president and secretary to give special preference to dedicated and sincere Youth Congress leaders and workers by giving party tickets in the Panchayat, Municipal and Assembly elections in the State.
Yadav in his address lauded the APYC for their various activities in Arunachal Pradesh and asked the members to discharge their responsibility with sincerity and dedication to bring back the Congress in the 2019 elections. He also directed APYC to organize a State-level Youth Congress convention-cum-rally in the state at the earliest.
Meanwhile, Geli Ete attended the oath taking ceremony of Assam Pradesh Youth Congress State office bearers the same day.
