ITANAGAR, Jul 17: A delegation of Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) led by its president  Takam Sanjoy today urged the governor to refer the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) compensation scam to CBI or to the Union Government to unearth the truth.
The delegation which called on the Governor today  submitted a memorandum informing  him that there are gross irregularities and corruption in payment of compensation to the beneficiaries in Lower Subansiri  and Kmale districts. 
Governor  Brig.(Retd.) B.D.Mishra assured the delegation that accountability, transparency, audit, mid course check are  important indicators for the development of the state. He further stated that development of the state comes first than  individual interest. 
He gave a patient hearing to  the presentation submitted by the  APCC delegation and assured to look into the matter at his own level and the matter shall be taken up with the Centre as well as  the state government.  He was also very serious after hearing the facts and expressed deep sorrow regarding the rampant corruption in the state and said that corrupt should not be spared at any cost irrespective of any political party. This was stated in a press release issued by the APCC here today.
