ITANAGAR, Nov 10: Following delay by the Election Commission on announcement of fresh dates for bye-election to   two vacant seats of 12th Pakke Kesang and 28 Likabali Constituency, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC)  has sought the attention of the Election Commission of India for early announcement of dates.

In its representation, APCC claimed that according to the Constitution the bye-election to the vacant assembly seats should have completed in a time period of 6 months. The delay caused by the concern office for not issuing dates even after the expiry of six months is unprecedented, arbitrary and against the Constitutional provision, APCC stated in a release.
