ITANAGAR, Oct 31: Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Takam Sanjoy today trained guns on Chief Minister Pema Khandu for shielding one Tsewang Gyatso, who is a Drug Inspector in the Directorate of Health Services. APCC is alleging that Gyatso has issued at least 300 fake appointment letters of multipurpose worker (MPW) post by taking minimum Rs 3 lakh to Rs 7 lakh from each candidate using the name of the Chief Minister.

‘There should be proper investigation within stipulated time frame failing which the Congress Party will launch jail bharao andolan,’ said Sanjay while alleging that CM Khandu is hand in glove in the job scandal. After GST and Demonetization now state government is looting the common people by taking bribe on pretext of jobs, alleged Sanjoy.

When asked to authenticate his allegation, Sanjoy informed that FIR lodged by the Department itself says that fake appointment orders were issued using fake signatures.

‘There should be immediate enquiry and culprit should be booked under the law,’ he said.

Meanwhile this daily spoke to Special Secretary (H&FW) Tapasya Raghav who stated that it’s too early to come to any conclusion. ‘The department has registered an FIR when the matter was brought to the notice of the authority,’ said Raghav.

However, speaking to this reporter, Drug Inspector, T Gyatso categorically refuted the allegation and termed it ‘political vendetta’.

‘Just because I am the cousin brother of the Chief Minister doesn’t mean I am authorized to do anything. The question should be asked to the higher authority on how and when such things happened as I have nothing to do with the issue,’ he said.

Cong writes to PM over chopper ‘misuse’

Meanwhile, the APCC President also slammed MoS Kiren Rijiju for misusing Indian Air Force helicopter for his private function. We have written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for enquiry against the MoS for misusing IAF chopper,  Sanjoy said.

‘How can he use IAF helicopter to visit BJP party rallies and other inauguration programmes. If he wants he can use any private helicopter but using IAF is clear misuse of government machinery, asserted the APCC Chief.
