ITANAGAR, Dec 11:The organizers of the popular singing talent hunt show-the Arunachal Idol (Season 2), has extended the dates of the grand finale from earlier slated December 12 to December 14 next at IG Park, Itanagar.

The change in the dates has been made to accommodate the dates of legendary Bollywood Music Director and the most popular Indian Idol judge Anu Malik, who will join the grand finale night on December 14^th next.

Arunachal idol is the only talent show of Arunachal Pradesh, which is being telecasted at the national level and the response for the second edition from viewers has been very good.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein will attend as the chief guest and guest of honor respectively and Parliamentary Secretary of Transport/State Transport, Likha Saaya as the special guest of the night.

There will be many special performances by local singing talents and artists of the state like Chochung Dema, top seven contestant of “The Stage 3” etc.

The event is being supported by the Department of PHED and Department of Tourism.

In a build-up to the grand finale, the organizers also conducted a roadshow on Saturday at different locations of the twin capital starting from Nirjuli, Takar Complex (Naharlagun), Bank Tinali and Akashdeep complex (Itanagar) from 9 am onwards to 8 pm.
