The District Tobacco Control Cell (DTCC) Yingkiong organised Anti- Tobacco School Programme at schools here from September 22-25 last. The awareness programme was conducted under the supervision of DPO, Dr. India Modi with support of NPCDCS and NVBDCP. Children were made aware of the harmful effects of tobacco on health, environment and overall development of the nation during the drive. The DTCC also sensitized the teaching fraternity about the COPTA Act regulation in campuses.
