PASIGHAT, Oct 9: Numaligarh Refinery Limited donated an Ambulance to Women Against Social Evils (WASE) on Saturday at Golaghat, Assam as part of it corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Presenting the ambulance from Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL), a Government of India Enterprise at Numaligarh Refinery complex on Saturday, Nikunja Borthakur, General Manager, NRL (Technical) and AJ Phukan, Senior Manager handed over the keys to WASE President, Omem Ering and said that, they are happy to see local women organization taking up social issues in a dedicated manner.
At present the women activists are using their own cars or relying on other means and it is expected that the new vehicle will greatly aid their endeavour.
