PASIGHAT, Sep 18: Taking strong exception on Chakma-Hajong refugee citizenship issue, the Adi Mising Baane Kebang (AMBK) has extended its support to the statewide bandh called by All Arunachal  Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) on 19th September. 
 
 AMBK, which works for greater interest and welfare of  Adis of Arunachal and Misings of Assam has said that, the granting of  citizenship to Chakma and Hajong refugees is against the interest and welfare of indigenous tribes. AMBK’s Secretary General, Okom Yosung and Publicity Secretary, Ungkung Regon has appealed Adis and Misings of both Arunachal and Assam to support the bandh called by AAPSU. AMBK has also objected granting special rights to Tibetan refugees.
