PASIGHAT, Oct 22:  Raising serious concern over cancellation of NIT No. PH/EC/NLET/NON-PLAN 2016-17/06/407/408 dated 22^nd March 2017, Govt. order No. HMB (A) 01/17 dated 19^th April 2017 and clubbing together around 27 multiple works for infrastructure development of 5^th IRBn HQ here at Pasighat, the All East Siang Registered Contractors’ Association (AESRCA) has strongly appealed the state government to adhere to the Arunachal Pradesh District based Entrepreneurs & Professional (Incentive, Development and Promotional) Act 2015.  

AESRCA President, Oni Panyang and General Secretary, Tarem Darang has said that, NIT called upon various infrastructure development for 5^th IRBn HQ, Pasighat under Arunachal Pradesh Housing and Welfare Corporation Ltd., Police HeadQuarters, Itanagar totalling around 27 items with total estimated cost of around 30 Crore were postponed twice before it was finally cancelled without citing proper reason. 

Now the same infrastructure development projects have been shifted to RWD and clubbed together in a single NIT to set it fit for a bigger bidder from elsewhere outside the district. So, we highly appeal the concern agency to let our district based firms to get the work though it’s clubbed together, added Panyang and Darang.
