YAZALI, Aug 4:An advocacy programme on protection of children was organized by an NGO, World vision India here today at community hall Yazali. About 119 staffers from Child protection units, children club, community leaders attended the program.

Addressing the mammoth gathering, CWC chairperson Lower Subansiri district, Puro Dolo thoroughly spoke on child protection from legal perspective and shared information on various sections and provisions under child rights, juvenile justice court and rehabilitation programs.

In the afternoon session, CDPO Yazali discussed with the participants on ICPS and divulged that schemes and facilities are available under ICDS to ensure children’s wellbeing.
