PASIGHAT, Oct 24:Deputy Commissioner East Siang, Tamiyo Tatak has proposed to constitute a board comprising of Medicine Specialist, Orthopedics and Dental Surgeon immediately to determine the age of Juveniles in conflict with law (JCL) admitted to the Juvenile Observation-cum-Special Home, Pasighat facility from all over the state.

He said this while chairing the Advisory Board of District Child Protection Society (ABDCPS) after a thorough inspection of the facility on Monday.

Executive Engineers of all works departments to be included as members in the Inspection Team-cum-District Advisory Board for better implementation of Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) in the district, he further added. Tatak also included appointment and posting of required staffers, arrangement of doctor for routine visit and health checkup of JCL, release of staff salaries, boundary wall, vehicle and maintenance of electrical wiring/equipment etc in the hour long discussion.

DMO Dr. M Perme, DD (ICDS) PE Angu, Supdt. Juvenile Home O Panyang, Principal Magistrate Dr. M Komut, JJB member YT Burang, Chairman CWC Pasighat Obang Dai and OC Pasighat Atan Taki were among those who attended the meeting.

Earlier, Dy. Director cum DCPO PE Angu briefed about various requirements and shortcomings while other participants shared their views and suggestions.
