TEZU, Oct 4:A meeting was called upon by Deputy Commissioner Karma Leki today to discuss on issues related to cleanliness and beautification of Tezu, the headquarters of Lohit District. DSP James Kabang Lego, Town Magistrate Duyu Ribya, Deputy Director UD, CO (Dev), Branch Officers, Bazaar Committee members were present in the meeting.

The house decided to instruct shopkeepers to keep dustbins in their respective shops and to unload the same in Sanitation Truck themselves. Also, it was decided to streamline fish and meat shops in the market.

To ensure uniform rate of fish and meat products, a 4-member committee has been formed to fix the rates of the same.

Also, Doctors will be entrusted with routine checking of fish and meat quality on regular basis as precautionary measures.

DC has also appealed to all the households of Tezu Town and nearby areas to use dustbins and contribute in making Tezu clean and beautiful.
