DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
YUPIA, Dec 17:
Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare, Tai Kaye alongwith National Infrastructure Development Company Limited(NIDCL) engineers inspected Bage Tinali to Gumto Check Post at a distance of 10KM and Doimukh Tinali to Kola Camp Tinali 3KM road today. The said roads were under Public Works Department, Doimukh Division but were taken over by NIDCL in 2017.
The district administration has sensitized the construction work in the larger interest of the educational institutes which falls in this stretch which includes Rajiv Gandhi University.
Earlier, the local MLA and Minister of UD, Urban Planning, Land Management, Nabam Rebia held a meeting with the District Administration, PWD Doimukh and NIDCL stakeholders for immediate implementation of the projects.
Chief Secretary Satya Gopal had also convened a special meeting with all Deputy Commissioners of Arunachal Pradesh, concern Secretary to the Government of India and all ranks and files of NIDCL stakeholders in his office chamber.
DC Kaye has directed NIDCL agency to complete the work during 2017-18 winter maintaining quality. The NIDCL reported some minor land issues within Right of Way (RoW) and sorted out on the spot with land owners.
