ITANAGAR, Oct 2:A team of Students United Movement of All Arunachal -East Kameg District (SUMAA-EKD), led by its president, Silley Taniang Flago accompanied by parents of Late Toko Yame on Monday met Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police , East Kameng regarding the alleged murder case.

In the meeting, the visiting team urged the District Administration head to convey a message to its Tawang counterpart to expedite the investigation to deliver immediate justice to the aggrieved family.

Earlier on Saturday last, the SUMAA-EKD took out a candle light peace rally in which people from all corner of East Kameng especially the youths and students participated.

Participating in the rally, the Father of the deceased,  Koya Yame questioned the role of Police officer assigned to investigate the matter and demanded to make public the post mortem report of his child.

The grieving father pleaded for unbiased investigation into his son’s death and early arrest of the culprits without any further delay.

SUMAA-EKD, president, Flago asked the Government to give stringent punishment to assailants and CBI inquiry to unearth the truth.
