ITANAGAR, Dec 4: The 3^rd phase of “active TB case finding activities”, organized by revised national TB control programme, state TB centre, Directorate of Health Services in collaboration with the district health societies (RNTCP),  commenced  today in Papum Pare, Lower Subansiri, East Kameng and East Siang districts. 

During the campaign which will go on till December 18 next, team led by district TB officer, comprising of health personnel from general Health Services, ASHAs will pay house to house visit to screen for symptoms of TB disease.

The campaign aims to target those vulnerable groups of people who are either unreached by the health department or do not have access to basic health services.
