ITANAGAR,  Jul 22:The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) today conducted a central executive meeting at NEFA Club Building,  Itanagar under the Chairmanship of Tobom Dai, General Secretary AAPSU. The meeting discussed at length regarding the Inner Line Permit (ILP) enforced in the state and probable illegal infiltration in the State after the recent NRC drive in Assam. The house present decided to initiate intensive ILP drive of illegal migrants from within the territory of State, and  appointed Tatung Taga Convenor AAPSU as the Chairman of the ILP issue. The union also decided to visit Bomdila to gather first-hand information on the burning Tibetan refugee issue within this month and organise meeting with all the stakeholders and discuss the issue for an immediate tangible solution.
 
The union also discussed to monitor the supply of textbooks to different districts and ensure that adequate amount of books reaches every school in the state. The AAPSU also opined that all the teaching faculties engaged in different non-teaching activities should be relieved of other government survey works so that the teachers can concentrate on the education sector only. 
The AAPSU appealed all the District students’ organisation to take pro-active role in the matter. The Union also decided to initiate sanitation and health awareness campaign within the capital complex in the coming month.
