ROING, Aug 17:In a series of raids carried on Wednesday evening across Roing, the administration and police arrested six persons and seized contraband substance from their possession. A case under NDPS Act has been registered in this connection. The arrests came about, when police inspected a rented house at APST colony to arrest one of the accused in connection with a robbery case. It is when the others were arrested as they were consuming drugs.

Town Magistrate, Sanjay Taram, informed that checking has been intensified to contain rampant use of drugs and prevent law and order in the Township area arising due to consumption of such illegal drugs items.
