ITANAGAR, Mar 16: The Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship organized an orientation-cum-sendoff programme at Udyog Sadan, Itanagar for 50 youths who got selected to undergo high end skill development training in automotive sector. These students will be trained by Assam Professional Academy (APA), Guwahati which is an empanelled training provider under Chief Minister Yuva Kaushal Yojana (CMYKY)and NSDC Training Partners on being sponsored by state government and implemented by the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. 
The selection of candidates was done through skill development sensitization, motivation and trainees selection rally held in all the district headquarters of the state every year. After completion of their training, they will have an opportunity to get wage-placement, which is the ultimate objective of the programme.
Director, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Subu Tabin along with Assistant Director, Jumbom Riba briefed the youth about the training programme, train journey, essential to acclimatize in new place, food habit, security precaution, dedication, discipline, to adhere COVID related protocols, self-hygiene etc. for successful completion of the training and getting a suitable job immediately after the completion of training.
The Director also highlighted that more youth will be provided high end skill development training in sectors like aviation for cabin crew / airport ground staff in animation job role and in drone technology with a provision to be placed in high salaried jobs.
