ZIRO, Nov 21:Just days after 11 houses were gutted at Hari village, Ziro was rattled by yet another fire accident Tuesday evening which claimed 5 lives.  

Lower Subansiri District Superintendent of Police, Bomge Kamduk with the assistance of officers from District administration and the ZPM of the area Danyi Buker rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation. 

Fire which broke out at around 5.40pm this afternoon claimed huge loss of property and human lives. Till filing of this report, name of the deceased who have been charred to death in the accident could not be established. In all, 14 OBT houses including the owners house has been reduced to ashes.
