ITANAGAR, Oct 21:

 

The Department of Youth Affairs is organizing a six day national level cycling competition from Guwahati to Tawang from October 23-29 next.

Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal will flag off the competition, in which Parliamentary Secretary, Nyamar Karbak along with Miss Tiara International, Chum Darang are expected to join the inaugural ceremony at Guwahati.

The competition will pass through Rowta(Assam)-Balemu-Rupa-Bomdila-Dirang-Sella Pass-Jang and culminate at Tawang on October 28 next, which will be flagged in by Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

 

About 30 professional riders from across India are expected to participate in the first ever mega cycling event.
