ITANAGAR, Oct 22:People from all walks of life including educationists and students from various institutions of Capital Complex including RGU, senior bankers, NGO and religious representatives etc today took part in the celebration of the 200th birth anniversary of Baha'u'llah, the Prophet Founder of the Baha'i Faith at Vivekananda Hall RKM Hospital today.

Attending as the Chief Guest, the Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan said that Bahá'u'lláh was one of the youngest prophets of the world who changed the course of humanity. As "Our faiths and believes define us," Dhawan said that his message was universal from materialistic to divinity and exclusiveness to inclusiveness. His message of equality has a new found meaning for uniting humanity, he added.

When India is known for its glory of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, why limit ourselves to 'me' and 'mera'. His philosophy reverses opposing views. Common purposes, like ensuring quality education, keeping capital clean, helping four-lane building for greater development, alone could unite us, he emphatically said while disapproving unsocial ways of registering opposition. He also gave a clarion call to all living in Arunachal to stand united for state's all-round progress.

Senior Journalist Pradeep Kumar said, If blood unites humanity, Bahá'u'lláh's presence is visible in Arunachal, or else Arunachal Vivekananda Yuva Shakti volunteers would not have succeeded in facilitating voluntary collection   of 1,80,000 unit of blood to save life.

Highlighting the philosophy of the noble soul, Arunachal Spiritual Assembly of Bahais, Chairman Chhabi Nayak said that the great soul  endeavoured for peace and tranquillity of global humanity believing that all are flowers of the same garden and the earth is but one country and mankind its citizen.

The message of Universal House of Justice, set up in 1963, was read out by Bijay Kumar Thakur.
