ITANAGAR, Aug 19: Hundreds of women from different villages of Namsai district joined the mass anti-drug rally organized by All Jaipur Women Welfare Society (AJWWS) here on Sundayfrom J Samguri-2 Village to Donakhana.
Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary, AJWWS Lila Payum said, “the motive of the rally is to create awareness on drug abuse, use of Opium and other narcotic substances by youths of various villages under Namsai district. Today we are here for the safe future of our future generation; we want our children to live without fear and addiction to drugs as well as other substances.”
She also informed that more such rallies and awareness programmes will be held in coming days against drugs abuse.
