DOIMUKH, Aug 23: Continuing its war against drug menace, the Doimukh Police on Thursday arrested a person identified as Yana Lama for allegedly possessing around 36 kgs of marijuana worth lakhs. Police are probing further to find out from where the accused, Lama brought the drugs.
Following inputs, Doimukh police led by officer-in-charge Inspector Padi Payang along with ASI Niri Rama and police team under the close supervision of SP Papum Pare, Tumme Amo conducted several raids in various suspected locations under Doimukh.
A case vide Dmk PS case No.31/18 u/s 20 NDPS Act.1985 was registered against the accused.
