ITANAGAR, Jul 3: In a day-long state executive meeting that was conducted today through virtual mode and participated by Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, union MoS Sports and Youth Affairs etc. Kiren Rijiju and a number of MPs. MLAs and senior party leaders, the state BJP engaged itself in extensive deliberations that touched various pressing issues of Arunachal Pradesh.
Participating in the meeting, Khandu said that the state has almost overcome the Covid-19 pandemic-created difficulties and the health of the state exchequer is also much better even after paying the Rs 1900 cr liabilities created by the previous Congress government. Expressing grave concern over Arunachal’s ranking in the national education index which is among the four least-performing states, the CM reiterated that the state government is committed to take a big leap in the education sector and together with the Centre, his government is investing around Rs 1000 crores in the current fiscal.  
Giving his detailed explanation over the Kimin issue, Khandu informed that once the high-power committee submits its report, he will personally pursue the matter with the union government to ensure appropriate punishment for the perpetrators/concerned BRO officials. He further added that he will take feedback from the state’s CBOs and student organizations on the vexed Assam-Arunachal boundary row that has remained unsolved since 1951. “Instead of fighting and blaming each other within the state, as ‘One Arunachal’ we should come forward and strive for a lasting and amicable solution,” the CM opined.   
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein moved three resolutions which were passed unanimously. While moving the resolutions, he said that all district hospitals will be strengthened in the next few years along with improvement and expansion of Anganwadi centres. Union MoS Rijiju informed the members that some anti-nationalist and leftist-minded individuals and organizations are trying to disrupt the peace in the state by spreading false and fabricated propagandas.
Arunachal East MP Tapir Gao expressed satisfaction over the services rendered by the BJP karyakartas in Covid fightback. MP and National General Secretary (Arunachal In-Charge) Dilip Saikai exalted the works done by the Chief Minister. Every BJP karyakarta should work in tandem with the state government so that the policies and benefits reach the poor, he said. 
Party Secretary (Organization) Anata Harayan Mishra gave a two-page organisation report. Presiding over the meeting, party President and MLA Biyuram Wahge hailed the recent tour of the Miao-Vijoynagar road by the Chief Minister and completion of the Chandra Nagar-Papu Nallah highway before the deadline.
Party Vice President Nanil Lajie and Rajya Sabha MP Nabam Rebia also participated in the virtual meeting.
