ITANAGAR,  Aug 9:Training on the use of web-portal and mobile application for Satellite Based Monitoring & Geo-tagging of Developmental Projects in Arunachal Pradesh was conducted by Department of Planning & Investment, Government of Arunachal Pradesh in collaboration with District Administration Capital Complex at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre today. 
 Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan urged all the participants to utilise the training which will ensure better monitoring of all the developmental projects being implemented in the Capital. The use of Geo tagging would result in transparency and accountability and result in better planning and monitoring of projects. The DC also lauded the initiative and asked all the participants to work with cooperation for the successful implementation of the project. He further asked every department to identify two projects each for geo tagging during filed visit Friday
During the training, presentation on satellite based monitoring and Geo- tagging of Development project of Arunachal Pradesh was presented by Tana Tage, Deputy Director.
Various modules of mobile application and web-portal dashboard were explained and live demonstration of application was given by Technical team of State Remote sensing Application Centre, Itanagar.
The training was attended by Director Planning Mokir Ori, Director SRSAC, all the Administrative Officers, EEs and AEs of all the line departments of the Capital Complex.
