Roing, Aug 18: Training on satellite-based monitoring and Geo-tagging of developmental projects, for heads of departments and field functionaries, was conducted today at the DC's Conference Hall, Roing. The training was conducted by the Planning Department (Monitoring cell) in collaboration with the State Remote Sensing Application Centre, Itanagar.
Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom informed that geo-tagging has been made compulsory for BADP and other Centrally-sponsored schemes and will also be used to monitor all other state-sponsored schemes later on. She advised the participants to take the training seriously and to put the methods learnt in use for effective monitoring purpose.
District level officers and officials actively participated in the technical session for Dashboard, MIS and Mobile application modules followed by field visits for Geo Tagging.
The meeting was attended by Mokir Ori, Director (Monitoring), Planning & Investment, HoDs, Administrative Officers of Sub-division and administrative circles and field functionaries of government departments.
