Yingkiong, Aug 18: Training on “Satellite-based Monitoring & Geo-tagging of Developmental Projects in Arunachal Pradesh” was conducted by Department of Planning & Investment in collaboration with State Remote Sensing Application Centre, Itanagar today at Tourist Complex, near DC Office,Yingkiong. The training was attended by Duly Kamduk, Deputy Commissioner, Talut Tatak, District Planning Officer, various district officials and Heads of the Departments of Upper Siang District and team from Department of Planning & Investment led by Tapo Yorung, Research Assistant and State Remote Sensing Application Centre, led by Er. Timothy Nima, Technical Consultant.
 
During the training, various modules of mobile application and web-portal dashboard
were explained and live demonstration of the application was given by a technical team of State Remote sensing Application Centre.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Yingkiong appreciated the initiative and directed all the District Officials to cooperate and work on the implementation of the application with full spirit.
