ITANAGAR, Aug 30: The Arunachal Pradesh Assembly today passed ‘The Arunachal Pradesh Staff Selection Board Bill’ 2018.
The Bill has paved the way for constitution of Staff Selection Board in the state .The new Board will streamline the process of selection of candidates for all Group ‘C’ posts in the state government.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu said it is a major reform step and the Board will ensure fair and transparent selection process of all candidates in the state.
The Chief Minister assured that the district wise quota will be given to candidates during selection but examination will be conducted by the staff selection board only.
He said the new selection board will start recruitment process by the end of this year.
