ITANAGAR, May 19:  All Lower Subansiri Distrcit Students Union has extended its support to the demand of Nyishi Elite Society (NES) seeking early creation of Khamle district.

In a release, ALSDSU reminded Chief Minister of his announcement to create the Khamle district on February 6 last amidst public on the occasion of Boori Boot celebration.

 The ALSDSU said despite the approval the matter is never discussed even after passage of two sessions of assembly in the past and requested the CM to initiate immediate action for creation of the proposed district.
