Itanagar, Oct 23 : Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd.) presented ‘Land of Rising Sun plaque for Excellence’ and citation to Second-in-Command Ramesh Chand and Torum Makcha, APPS for their exemplary service as ADC to Governor, professional competence, and unwavering commitment to duty at Lok Bhavan, Itanagar today.
The Governor appreciated 2nd-in-Command Ramesh Chand of the Assam Rifles and Torum Makcha, for their dedicated service as Aides-de-Camp (ADCs) to the Governor. He acknowledged their contribution to the efficient conduct of official engagements at Lok Bhavan through effective coordination, protocol management and security arrangements.
The Governor particularly commended their discretion and sound judgement in handling sensitive matters. He observed that their responsibilities required meticulous planning, attention to detail and a high degree of accountability, which they had demonstrated in the discharge of their duties.
Emphasizing the importance of integrity, discipline and teamwork in public service, the Governor advised both officers to continue upholding the professional standards and traditions of the Assam Rifles and the Arunachal Pradesh Police, respectively. Describing them as valuable assets to Lok Bhavan, the Governor acknowledged their role in the effective functioning of the Governor’s establishment and conveyed his best wishes for their continued professional growth and future assignments.
2nd-in-Command Ramesh Chand of the Assam Rifles has been relieved of his duties as Aide-de-Camp (ADC) to the Governor and repatriated to his parent organization to take up the assignment of Battalion Training Officer at the Assam Rifles Training Centre and School, Dimapur, Nagaland. Torum Makcha has been repatriated to his parent department to serve as Superintendent of Police (Telecom), Itanagar.
