ZIRO, Jul 31: Government Higher Secondary School, Yazali (GHSSY) lifted the District Level U-17 Subroto Cup Football trophy by defeating Dani Kunia Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Ziro (DKGHSSZ) in boys’ category.

The final match was played here at DKGHSSZ ground today between GHSSY and DKGHSSZ. The match ended in 0-0 after full time. In the tie breaker, GHSSY won the match by 5-4. Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Tallo bagged the fair play team award.

In girls’ category, Govt. Sec. School, Yazali lifted the trophy by defeating Gandhi Govt. Sec. School, Hapoli by 2-0 in the finals played today. Fair play award was given to DKGHSSZ.
