ITANAGAR, Aug 29: The Arunachal Pradesh Mahila Congress Committee (APMCC) organised a state level executive meeting under the chairmanship of its president, Nabam Yakum in presence of secretary, All India Mahila Congress (AIMC), Kim Haokip Shingnaisui here today.
In her address, Yakum while congratulating women representatives from districts and other participants for the introduction of a new official flag of Mahila Congress including the successful launching of Shakti Project, has sought collective effort from all workers for effective implementation of Priyadarshini project which is to be launched soon in the state.
Secretary, AIMC, Shingnaisui shared with the participants her long experience in politics of Manipur as a Congress worker and asked APMCC to build confidence among women workers and encourage them to take part in political leadership.
Spokesperson, APMCC, Mina Toko, Yabom Lomdak, General Secretary, Marina Kenglang and representatives of various APMCC district heads attended the programme.
