Aalo, Aug 17: West Siang In charge Deputy Commissioner Sode Potom has finalised various schemes submitted by MLAs and public under SIDF and non-BADP for West Siang here on Thursday. All proposed schemes were thoroughly examined and finalised with slight modifications wherever necessary.
The DC asked District Planning Officer to make available copies of the schemes to all members and urged the executing agencies to tie up with concerned legislators on all technical issues on certain schemes.
He also asked all HoDs to attend all important meetings along with field officers to be held shortly on Line Monitoring and Geo Tagging training.
Henge Riba, DPO, outlined the broad objective, guidelines and various schemes on roads, flood protection, rural link roads, electrification, hydel projects, CC Steps and other infrastructure development in various parts of the district to the tune of Rs. 10 crores each for Aalo East, Aalo West, Liromoba and Mechuka for the year 2018-2019.
