TEZU, May 22: In view of the State’s commitment to maximize revenue generation, a meeting under the chairmanship of DC Lohit Danish Ashraf, was held today which was attended by HoD's of all the revenue earning departments of the district.The Tax and Excise department gave a brief presentation on GST, which will come into force shortly. The DC called upon all the departments to improve their revenue base and prevent revenue leakage. In this regard, the NIC was directed to develop an online portal to monitor the revenue earned by various departments, wherein department wise details will be uploaded and recorded.
