BASSARNALLO, Aug 26: Minister for Land Management, Environment & Forest, etc Nabam Rebia today urged upon the local people to cooperate with the administration and government for all-round development of Sangdupota Circle.

Rebia, addressing the gathering as chief guest on the occasion of   1st foundation day celebration of Bassarnnallo Sangtam Ajin Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society Limited (BSAMPCS), said that the government is for the people and a lot of infrastructure has been created in the Sangdupota Circle including NIT, TV & Film Institute, Law College, Entrepreneur Development Institute, Bassarnallo Middle School upgraded to Secondary School, etc.

 

He urged the people to have patience and shoulder their responsibility and cooperate with the administration and government so that the process of development does not face any hindrance at any point in time.

Referring to the memorandum submitted by the committee for a Pharmacy, Fair Price Shop and financial support for the MPCS movement in the area, Rebia assured all support and requested the committee members to select a place for construction of office building and he would extend financial support when required.

Papum Pare Cooperative Union’s, Nabam Amzi Tajo while lauding the MPCS activities in the area called upon all to associate with the cooperative movement so that they can also become shareholders and part of the business and earn a livelihood and sustainable development of family and area. She wanted that the MPCS should create more awareness in the field as the cooperative movement was one of the effective tools of the rural development. 

Arunachal Pradesh Cooperative Union, President Susil Nalo while attending the function as special guest elaborated on various activities undertaken by the Department of Cooperation, Cooperative Union and RCS office in spreading of the cooperative movement in the state.

BSAMPCS Chairman, Nabam Tahi Nekil highlighted the works undertaken by the MPCS till date in the area and also its business activities for promotion and development.
